The first issue of the VDownloader is the actual video converter which is slow compared to other native video converters. My suggestion is to download the files in its original format and to convert it only if you don't have other options. The second issue would be the interface which is video accelerated for no specific reason. If you run by any chance Fraps in background, VDownloader will encounter problems by displaying its check boxes and icons. The reason is that Fraps detects VDownloader as a DirectX application and both applications go into conflict.
