it has broken all records. The Kabir Khan-directed film co-starring
Katrina Kaif has grossed over Rs.200 crore in less than a fortnight. So
besides creating the record of the highest opening day ever with a Rs.
32.92 crore, the film also managed to break all opening weekend records. Besides, Ek Tha Tiger also creates a new record for the fastest Rs. 100 crore earning at the box office.
The film released on August 15, 2012. "The film has opened to a crazy response, so there are chances that the total box office collection will increase. Since the film was strategically released on a week that included Independence Day as well as Eid, it had an advantage," said trade analyst Vajir Singh.
